Description

‘Stone 9, Cloverhill’ is the 4th piece in my ‘Turning Squares’ series.
Each square is 8.5cm x 8.5cm x 1.8cm, with a gap of 0.6cm between each of them.
All squares were textured, wire brushed, burned, coloured with red spirit stain and highlighted with gold gilt cream.

The centre panel was textured with art from stone 9, face A, in the megalithic tomb in Cloverhill, Co. Sligo, Ireland and stained with red spirit stain.  Cloverhill (askaboutireland.ie)
