Description

I made this piece by gluing up 0.6cm plywood discs that I had cut the centres from with a hole saw.

I used the cut-out pieces to form the narrower neck.

I hollowed each stack of 5 discs on the lathe before gluing the blocks together and I inserted Wenge veneer between each block of 5.

The top 1.5cm is solid Wenge with a 1.5cm opening.

Finish: Woodoc satin.
