Description
This piece of bog oak is an off-cut from my previous bog oak piece – 6C29.
I was immediately drawn to the large void on it’s left side and I knew from the start that I would gild it.
I turned and textured it off centre and I gilded it with 24ct gold leaf.
Finish: Colourless Liberon La Créme De Cire (wax cream) from a tin that I bought on a recent visit to France.
(You just have to visit hardware stores everywher you go!!).
I then power buffed it with domed bristle brush.
