Description

My wood turning club do a sale every year for charities. This year we supported PIETA (https://www.pieta.ie/) a charity in Ireland that exists to reduce suicide and self-harm, and to support those who have been impacted by suicide and self-harm.
We also supported The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust (https://kbrtrust.com/) a charity that aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the body (bodies) of loved one(s) who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland.

I made sixteen of these figures to support both charities.

I left the walnut hats in their natural state and coloured all of the rest with spirit stains.
Finish: Acrylic sanding sealer and Acrylic gloss lacquer.
