Description

In August 2023 my wife and I were on holidays in a small sea side town called Follonica, in Tuscany, Italy.
We went out for a meal one evening and I was served soup in the ceramic bowl above.
I took one look at it’s form and colour and then told my wife that I was going to turn a wooden one when we got home.
The bowl here is my copy of that bowl and it is as close as I could get to it’s size given that I used my hand and fingers to get measurements.
The grain in my piece of ash was so nice that I decided not to colour it.
Finish: Walrus oil, cutting board oil, Beeswax and Grapeseed oil – all of them food safe.
