Description

I made my piece from an offcut of a recycled oak bollard. It is endgrain turned.
I burned the wood before turning the bowl and then coloured it with Jo Sonja’s iridescent blue (jj3152).
I routed all of the coves in the top surface with various sizes of coving bits while the piece was attached to the chuck and still on the lathe.

Finish: Woodoc low gloss.
